ERSA Group Process

ERSA Group is wedded to only one thing. The belief that processes, platforms, players, and applications must be tailored to meet the needs of each individual client. After all, every client has specific goals, metrics, and business rules that cannot be addressed with "just add hot water and serve" solutions.

That said, we do have a clearly defined process that, while flexible, has had consistent results: solutions that achieve business goals and meet users’ needs.

Discovery

During the Discovery phase ERSA gathers information from the client regarding their goals and objectives, user needs, metrics, business rules, technical requirements, and any other special considerations or concerns.

This phase involves meetings with the client, including a Discovery Workshop. The Discovery Workshop is an intensive meeting that involves all client stakeholders and the core ERSA team. Together, we participate collaboratively in a series of activities including goal prioritization, end-user needs analysis, business requirements, success metrics, and project overview.

ERSA will also conduct a technical assessment with the appropriate technical representatives to make sure we understand all technical requirements.

Analysis

After Discovery, we will produce a Strategic Design Recommendation Document that captures what we have heard from the client and provides a high-level deployment architecture. This document provides the foundation for all subsequent design and development decisions.

Design

During the Design phase we establish the framework for the deployment from a functional and technical perspective. This framework serves as the roadmap for all design, technical, and production efforts during the Development phase.

The major deliverables during this phase are the Functional Specification (contains deployment map, specifications, data flows, and task flows). As these deliverables address design, functionality, and workflow, they will clearly demonstrate whether we are still on track for meeting client objectives.

Implementation

During the Implementation phase, ERSA builds out the deployment according to the framework and technical direction established during the Design phase.

The main deliverables during this phase include wiring, configuration, and deployment of all key systems, and services.

Testing

Before launching, we perform a series of tests that include unit functionality, efficiency, and network connectivity tests. We also perform integration testing as well as fail-over testing where applicable.

Delivery

To ensure the goals stated at the beginning of the project are met, ERSA Group will meet with you to review the technology roadmap and business goals of your implementation. Any required training will be performed, as well as delineating on-going support procedures. The final step is the completion of the Client Acceptance Form. This form outlines all the work done and serves as the final validation that the project meets the client’s objectives.
